Jenny Rivera Concert

Yesterday was the Jenny Rivera concert in San Diego. Me and my partner had a blast! Jenny Rivera is our favorite female singer and seeing her performing live was a treat. Of course I wanted to look my best for the event so I took my time with my makeup. I went with a silver and black look with pink lipstick and I think it suit the event well, coincidentally Jenny herself was wearing black and silver and she looked hot. One thing that I really want to bring out about yesterday's makeup is that I was trying for the very first time Urban Decay's 24/7 eyeliner in Zero, let me tell you... I'm in love with it. NO smearing, running, and it lasted the whole night, even after sweating, yelling, singing etc... in a crowdy, musty, performing arts center. It is definitely worth the $18, it costs!! So... I have been pondering the idea of blogging about makeup and beauty for months... Not because I think I'm an expert or the best artist out there but simply because friends and family have suggested it numerous times and today I finally started! I'm so excited. I have so much to share regarding my experiences as a self-taught beauty artist... For starters, let me tell you about why I love makeup so much... COLOR.
You have to admit, everything is way better in COLOR, from television, to tattoos, you name it, a bit of color makes a HUGE difference. And when color is used appropriately the possibilities are endless!! I love that feeling... The feeling that I can make anything happen with a smile, a wink, a subtle look. For me, makeup boosts my confidence, self-esteem, and makes me feel like I am IT. Now such a feeling is so wonderful that I would be completely selfish to not share it with others...
